Standard Life Standard Life scan approx 30,000 documents a day on three Agfa S61 scanners capturing customer policies. The policies are indexed with verification lookup tables to improve the integrity of the data. The documents are then retrieved using the e-Stor system by up to 2000 users over the internal network.

Parkrow An Independent Financial Adviser, Park Row have approximately 30 sites throughout the UK scanning locally and then uploading images and indexing centrally into the e-Stor system via a citrix session over the internet. The main e-Stor server is hosted by a 3rd party company.

Bexley Council Provide an internal scanning bureau for a multitude of different departments within the council. The documents are scanned and indexed by the use of bar-coded header sheets filled in by the individual departments. They are then imported into e-Stor and the extensive security allows only departmental users to view their own documents despite all images being stored in one repository

Keydata Another financial services group utilizing the full potential of the document scanning, workflow and indexing properties of e-Stor on an intranet system that handles the daily input of new policy documents, where the captured images are used as the live working documents not just as an archive.

Lloyds Registrars Use e-Stor to capture and store electronic data files generated by share transactions. The documents are automatically imported and indexed through rules setup in the document type profiles. Lloyds currently have over 80 million indexes on their e-Stor system providing almost instant retrieval of the originla reports

Siemens Business Systems Used 5 Sunrise microfilm scanners to scan all the births, deaths and marriage microfilm documents since 1837 in a project to digitize the whole archive for access via the internet
